Gasa Hot Spring Trek

Duration: 5 days / 4 Nights.
Maximum Elevation: 2430m.
Nature of the trek: Short and easy trek.
Best Season: February-March, October-December.

Gasa Hot Spring Trek is Bhutan’s one of the most interesting treks situated below the Gasa Dzong (2760m), one of the larger and the most accessible sites. Most of the people in Bhutan visits the hot spring mainly for the medical reasons. This Hot Spring Trek is very easy as it is at the low altitude and more over there are good trail parallel to the Mo Chu river (Mother River).

Day 1: Tashithang (1600m) to Damji (2250m).
            Distance: 16km, Time: 5-6 hours.

Day 2: Damji (2250m) to Gasa Hot Spring (2220m).
            Distance: 16km, Time: 4-5 hours.

Day 3: Rest day in Gasa Hot Spring (2220m).

Day 4: Rest day in Gasa Hot Spring (2220m).

Day 5: Gasa Hot Spring (2220m) to Tashithang (1600m).
            Distance: 16km, Time: 5-6 hours.
