Druk Path Trek

Duration: 6 Days / 5 Nights.
Maximum Elevation: 4210m.
Nature of the trek: Short Trek.
Best Season: February-June, September-December.

Druk Path Trek is considered to be Bhutan’s one of the most scenic and most popular short trek. It takes from Paro (2450m) to Thimphu (2818m) or vice versa-traversing mountain passes, through lush green valleys and passing several small high altitude lakes.
The duration of Druk Path Trek ranges between 4 and 6 days and it is a short trek with the maximum altitude of 4200m.

Day1: National Museum, Paro (2450m) to Jele Dzong (3436m).
          Distance: 8km, Time: 4-5 hours.

Day 2: Jele Dzong (3436m) to Jangchu Lakha (3770m).
           Distance: 10km, Time: 3-4 hours.

Day 3: Jangchu Lakha (3770m) to Jimilang Tsho (3870m).
           Distance: 11km, Time: 4 hours.

Day 4: Jimilang Tsho (3870m) to Simkotra Tsho (4090m).
           Distance: 11km, Time: 4 hours.

Day 5: Simkotra Tsho (4090m) to Phajoding (3750m).
           Distance: 10km, Time: 5 hours.

Day 6: Phajoding (3750m) to Motithang, Thimphu (2520m).
           Distance: 4-5km, Time: 2-3 hours.
