Bumthang Cultural Trek

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights.
Maximum Elevation: 3360m.
Nature of the trek: Short Cultural Trek.
Best season: March-May, September-November.

Bumthang is considered as the spiritual and religious heart land of Bhutan. It has four major high altitude forested valleys, so many  beautiful big houses, many important/religious temples, monastries and even palaces.

Day1: Toktu Zampa (2620m) to Ngang Lhakhang.
           Distance: 12km, Time: 4-5 hours.

Day 2: Ngang Lhakhang to Tahung.
           Distance: 16km, Time: 6-7 hours.

Day 3: Tahung to Mesithang (2760m).
           Distance: 16km, Time: 6-7 hours.
