DRUK AIR [Royal Bhutan Airlines is the national carrier of the Royal Government of Bhutan, operating to seven cities in six countries. The airline operates two BAe146-100 series and two A319. Druk Air's mountain flight offers an opportunity to experience a bird's eye view of many of the mountains in the Bhutan Himalayas and also see some of the more remote and beautiful parts of the Kingdom. Taking off from the airport situated in the valley of Paro at 7,333 ft., the flight makes a rough figure eight route across the length of the country.
The hour long flight offers myriad scenery from the towering heights of the Eastern Himalayas to the subtropical forests of the foothills. The Tshendeygang Group (22,947 ft), Tari Gang (23,275 ft), Masang Gang (23,603 ft), are among a few of the majestic sights that you will encounter on this flight. Beyond the mighty summits, you can also catch a glimpse of the great Tibetan Plateau in all its grandeur stretching in the distance.

Druk Air Cancellation Policy:
For the Druk Air Fare, you will be subject the cancellation rules set by Druk Air (The National Airline) for the purchased of tickets is as follows:

• Cancellation of Druk Air tickets regardless of season or number of days prior to departure are subject to at least a 15% penalty of the airfare price.
• During the peak season (Jan - June, May, September, December) Druk Air cancellations made 60 days to 30 days before departure are subject to 50% penalty of the airfare price.
• Cancellations made within 30 days prior to departure are not eligible for a refund.
• During the low season (July, August) Druk Air cancellations made 21 days to 14 days before departure are subject to 50% penalty of the airfare price.
• Cancellations made within 14 days prior to departure are not eligible for a refund.
• Passengers who fail to show up for a flight will not be eligible for a refund.
• Lost tickets are nonrefundable.

Passengers who reschedule their flights will be subject to the following rebooking fees:

48 hours before departure: $11
36 hours before departure: $22
24 hours before departure: $33

Delayed Arrival / Departure:
There shall be no charge for the number of days of delay in departure of visitors due to weather conditions, Druk Air problems or roadblocks. They will be charged only the actual expenses on accommodation, food, transport and any other services required.
